Tis the season…
The pre-season game was last night and the weather was beautiful! Kole did a great job but we did leave early in the 4th quarter. Hallelujah the season has begun!! (Sorry for the sideways pictures, I am unsure how to change them)

Settling in to our seats

Don’t I look excited!

Family picture!

Walking back to the car.
Other things that are keeping us busy are:
-the house! Conrad is gone every night working on it! Currently he is working on the hardwood flooring with our friend James. They are having a working bee tonight so us wives are bringing them supper. It is looking really good and hopefully I will get around to posting pictures when it is done!
-Doctor’s appointments and shots. Kole had his four month shots…and it was sad. He cried a lot more than last time but still did okay. He goes to see the Pediatrician today for his four month check up. I saw my Doc this morning and I have to go for more urine tests and possibly referred to a Nephrologist as something seems to be up with my kidneys. I am not too worried but please pray that it is nothing.
-Planning for Kole’s baptism. It is going to be the party of the century…just kidding! If you are in the area it will take place on Aug. 2 at Bread of Life church at 9:30am. My parents are visiting and my Dad will perform the baptism, how wonderful!
-Meeting close friends babies! Two of my close friends recently had babies (Andrea-Jacob and Krystal-Aubrey). They are both beautiful and healthy and such a blessing from God!
-Hanging out with my Aunt! She had her prednizone treatments two weeks ago and is doing wonderfully! Kole and I try to visit her at least twice a week but lately we have been over more as he just loves her! As I type this they are both fast asleep on her LA Z BOY rocker…how adorable!
-Swimming! Last week for Mom’s & Tot’s we decided to take the kids swimming and we had a blast! So the following Friday my friend Sonja and I decided to take Kole swimming again but this time at my Aunt’s outdoor pool. We all had a great time!
Well, I best go as Kole just woke up and we have to get ready for the Doctor!

I love baptisms! Wish we could be there. I’m already starting to think about our baby’s baptism – and we’ve already asked people to be the godparents. I don’t know – maybe it has to do with being a PK…

Sheena – I’m so excited you’re thinking about cloth diapers.
Though I”ve never used them myself (obvously) I have heard so many good things from so many people about these diapers. They’re one size fits all so you don’t have to buy full sets of 4 or 5 different sizes. And though I’ve heard that “one size never fits all”, apparently these ones actually do. A girlfriend of mine is currently using them on her newborn and swears by them. They never leak though disposables often do. Each diaper comes with 2 pads – a smaller one and a bigger one. You can use the smaller one for younger babies (less bulk) – and the bigger one when they get older. Or if they pee a ton at bedtime, you can double up and use both. If you’re thinking about trying out cloth I would totally recommend buying just 2-5 of them to try them out. I really don’t think you’ll regret it!
