I am going to have a great weekend…I get to go to my little brothers graduation, see my sister and her sweet pad, spend quality time with the family, and see a brand new baby…I can not wait!

Some goods news last week, I received a new job title (from Communications Assistant to Coordinator, Client Communications) and a big fat raise, and we also got approved to build a house out in Emerald Park, wahoo!!! We can not wait to live 10 minutes outside the city, much quieter and much bigger lots!

This week, I am very busy at work! The only outing will consist of hanging out with the Roberts’ family. We sure have not seen them in a while but we thought we would get in a good visit before child #2 comes along! They are great friends of ours that we could spend hours just talking too…and we have!

The African Childrens Choir will be performing at the Roberts’ church next month and we have offered to have three boys stay at our house from May 11-14, sure can not wait to meet them!

Well, I am not feeling well so I think that I am going home to lay down soon, have a great week everyone!

It started on Sunday, I woke up with a bit of a sore throat, it got better throughout the day, but then closer to bedtime in started getting increasingly worse.  Then I woke up Monday and decided to stay home for the day.  

You see, this coming weekend Conrad and I have eleven house guests to take care of, that is right, eleven!!  They are our friends from Lloydminster and Saskatoon coming for the University of Regina Alumini basketball tournament.  Though not one of them actually attended the University of Regina, they are still some how allowed to enter a team.  So I have been trying to clean the house, I mean every inch of the house, in fact…..I am turning into my mother (I hope she doesn’t read this) to prepare for them.   I have also been doing mountains of laundry full of blankets, sheets, pillow case and towels.  Don’t get me wrong, I am looking forward to them coming, in just takes a lot of preperation.

Also, I am in a dinner theatre at my church next week.  I missed Monday’s practice (as I was sick) and then there is practice on Thursday, Saturday, Monday, Tuesday and performances Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday which means I will not have one early-to-bed night at all next week.  

Point of the story, I stayed home Monday, went to work Tuesday, as a result I am back at home on Wednesday and can not afford to be sick anymore!!  I have a stupid sinus infection again, hurts so bad!!  I just need to feel better!!
